In-game settings: I use manual drifting so that I have access to the mini-turbo (who the hell uses automatic drifting anyways?) I usually do 150 CC with both karts and bikes on because it's a nice challenge for me, but not blood-boiling hard like mirror mode. This feels more natural than doing it vertically with the Wii remote and nunchuck. To pop a wheelie, you would need to point your wheel slightly upwards and to do tricks, all you need to do is give it a light shake.
